- How about staying near buckhead. When I went down there visiting in Feb, I was staying at the doubletree hotel. It is off North Druid Hills Rd. It isnt far from downtown. It was a little cheaper than downtown. The room was $90 a night. It is a really nice hotel.
- I would stay in Buckhead. Somewhere in Peachtree. They have great hotels like The Westin(MY FAVE) and then there is the Ritz Carlton(a tad more fancy)...There both right near underground atlanta and if you are really into site seeing head to the Coca-Cola Factory. You will definatly HAVE ALOT of funn with your friends in this area! hope thi shelps ashleekate<3
- Embassy suites across from Centennial Park. It's close to sightseeing, clubs, sports bars, and the train.
- I would stay in Buckhead. I had to go to training for work a few times in Atlanta. The first week I stayed downtown at the Hilton and the neighborhood wasn't great. The next two weeks I stayed at the Doubletree in Buckhead. It was reasonably nice. They gave me warm chocolate chip cookies when I checked in. Also, there is a nice "real" gym across the street that you use for free if you stay there. Plenty of shopping, dining, and bars. If you want to go downtown, it is really easy to use the trains from Buckhead to almost anywhere in the city.
