Hotel Atlanta

Where is a good hotel to stay at for an Atlanta Braves game at Turner Field?

Has anyone found a really good value on a hotel when visiting Atlanta to attend a Braves game? I know the hotels downtown are pricey and you have to pay an arm and a leg for parking. We would like a hotel probably outside of downtown but close to public transportation and in a safe area. Can probably do without the bells and whistles for a lower price. We are looking to attend the last series against Philadelphia in October.

1. O I WAS GONNA SAY THE HOLIDAY INN RIGHT NEXT TO TURNER FIELD. but since you are on a budget I would try the Budget inn or something on Memorial drive in Decatur its on a bus route and close to Kennsington train station or maybe a motel 6
2. Check out The Ellis Hotel at 176 Peachtree Street Northwest, Atlanta or the Centennial Inn at 111 Cone Street Northwest, Atlanta these hotels are close to Turner Field.
