Hotel Atlanta

A hotel in Atlanta Near Nightlife for people in their early 20s?

I'm searching for a nice hotel in Atlanta (around $100/night) that is near the 20-something nightlife. I know Atlanta is sprawled out, but I'd like to be near the clubs and bars. Do you have suggestions of hotels or certain sections of the city? Thanks!

4. Look for places in Buckhead or the Virginia Highlands part of town, they both have alot of bars and are a little bit cheaper than downtown, but they are still in the Atlanta City Limits. I would also suggest looking near Atlantic Station (near 17th Street bridge)
5. Buckhead nightlife does not exist anymore-the bar district has been demolished to make way for condos and shopping. The 'party' areas of town are Midtown, near Crescent Avenue at 14th, Virginia Highlands, and Underground Atlanta. Crescent Ave area has high end hotels, generally the most expensive in town, the Highlands don't really have anywhere that I'd like to stay, and Underground has several hotels, but you will not want to walk from the hotel for safety reasons. There's also East Atlanta, for a little more Avaunt Gard bars and clubs, and Decatur, but they're a little out of the way if you want to be in the city.
