Hotel Atlanta

Travel Advice for Atlanta please??? (hotels, shopping, etc...)?

I am traveling to atlanta next april...ill be staying april 4th - april 12th (8 nights)...i know we will be doing alot of shopping and gone from the hotel most of the time so we really only need 2 beds and a bathroom ya know....so i wanted a centrally located hotel at a reasonable price...ive looked on priceline, expedia, tripadvisor, hotels.com, and a few others and i cant find exactly what im looking for...i was wondering if you guys knew of a hotel that may not be listed on there thats reasonably priced...i want the cheapest possible since we are staying for 8 nights and id like to spend more on shopping than lodging...also i know we want to go to the malls and flea markets while in town (i really like the fleamarket on metropolitan parkway)...if i could get a list of the "must see" shopping locations there that would be great....im 21 and this is a college graduation trip with my girlfriends so any good night spots would be a plus as well...any other advice to make my trip fun and efficient would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

  1. Stayin anywhere in "atlanta" will cost u, least anywhere you would be okay going in after dark. Honestly short of a Motel 8 or something your gonna pay a lil bit. ON buford highway and north druid hills there is a red roof in, not tooo cheap but its not the Westin, and you'll be like 7-10 mins from Lenox Mall and BUCKHEAD! everything is 21 and up though. So as for nightlife, depends; strick dresscodes, Vip rooms Opera, Cosmopolitan, Lava Lounge so on, then theres Lotus (at Leinberg Station) Fever, on Cheshire Bridge (all of those are like 10 from that hotel!. Hole in the Wall is a more 'casual' bar/club some call it a Frat Bar, but its a blast and ur in walking distance of like 5 other without a cove so TONS of ppl and bear, and shots Hole in the Walla nd MOon Dogs.. if ur into 'flea market' vintage shops MUST GO TO lil 5 points!! Junckmans daughter Vortex soo on, but thats a Day thing Also, check out Atlantic Station its awsome. For a laid back day Stone Mountain is fun nightlife is pretty hard to mess up though! hope that helps pretty hard to not have a blast here, im 22 and there is ALWAYS something to do and a guy will to buy shots all night! check out CreativeLoafing.com then think u just follow Atl link and events happenings nightlife so on. need more let me know AIM: ALH0425 GOOD LUCK!
