- The Hyatt is a good choice. Last year I got a room for $99. But good luck with the Aquarium.,,,,,it sucks. I was so excited when they opened it here, but the one in Tennessee is MUCH better.
- The Courtyard Marriot and Doubletree are nice, clean hotels. Decent locations, too. Short walk or cheap taxi rides to lots of bars and restaurants.
- First check out deals with the Aquarium and hotel packages together... go to citypass/atlanta.com
- Anything downtown near the Aquarium will be pricey. That is conventioneers row and they charge the business guests a fortune. Check out the Mariott or Doubletree up I-85 near Clarimont Rd or N. Druid Hills Rd, just on the north side of downtown. There is a Red Roof Inn near the Doubletree that should be inexpensive. Avoid anything south of town near the airport. There are also a few budget hotels on Sidney Marcus near Buckhead.
