what are some good restaurants, bars/clubs and hotels in Atlanta?
My husband and I are going get a hotel in or near Atlanta. We want to go eat somewhere nice, go to a club or bar and then stay at a nice hotel with a balcony (if you know what I mean). We are not and an old couple and want to do something sexy.If you know of any places that would fit what I'm looking for, let me know. Thanks. :)

- ATL BAR in Buckhead called Hole In The Wall, awesome bar, and then peach tree tavern, pool hall, churchills, barking dog, good luck have fun get drunk
- Just a heads up: Peachtree Tavern USED to be nice...but I wouldn't go anywhere near there right now. Jamal Anderson got busted for doing cocaine in the bathroom there this weekend. Place will be crawling with cops out to make your night miserable. On that note. The best hotel to stay in is the W (downtown or midtown). The W midtown has it's own bar that people go to that aren't even staying at the hotel and it's walking distance to Opera, hands down the nicest club in Atlanta. (Do a little pre-gaming drinking though because their drinks are expensive and not strong...but dont get drunk or else the bouncers wont let you in) The W and Opera scream sexiness. Do dinner at Twist. That is a trendy little restaurant walking distance from the hotel and club. The Westin is also a nice hotel but isn't within walking distance of anything really fun or decent.
- I would stay at the Doubletree and Courtyard Marriot in Buckhead. Not because I like Buckhead, I don’t. I hate it. But, it’s pretty centrally located and the price is not that bad. If you like cheesy ass clubs then do visit Opera. If you like overpriced drinks, small portioned and exceptionally mediocre food do eat at Twist. Other popular clubs in the area include Cosmolava and Leopard Lounge. Frankly, I’d rather undergo an elective prostate exam than go back to either. But, if you like dancing and loud dance music you’ll probably have a good time.
- I would stay at the new sexy place: Twelve Hotel @ Atlantic Station. Atlantic Station is a new hip neighborhood of yuppies and celebrities in a NY style setting of shops and bars. not too far from the Station is Crescent Avenue where those Opera and Leopard Lounge clubs are. but you could have enuf fun in Atlantic Station alone without doing the pop dance clubs.
