Where are the best hotels in Atlanta?

My wife and I are taking our first trip to Atlanta. We're looking for some good hotels. It would be nice if it's relaxing and romantic as well. We will be heading to the clubs in Atlanta (hip hop and salsa), that's the main point of our trip. It would be nice to be somewhat close.
